Purpose
Students gain project management experience while making
a difference in their community. They first learn research,
collaboration, and critical thinking skills by examining
their community's status. They then utilize communication
and planning skills by inviting a community leader to
speak about how he or she is helping the community. The
final step for students is to complete a project of their choice that
will improve their own communities, resulting in citizenship
and leadership experience. |
