Purpose
Students further develop research and planning skills
by examining the environment's resilience. First, they
research the causes of extinction and learn about an endangered
species of their choice. They then create a recovery plan
for their species. Students also reflect and journal about
human resilience and perserverance, including their own.
They then think of ways to celebrate the achievements
of the projects they have completed in this or other units.
