Many people enjoy watching animals in circuses, films, TV, and music videos.
However, entertainment animals are sometimes abused, particularly those
who are not domesticated and are potentially dangerous to their human trainers
such as elephants, big cats, and apes. If you and your group want to help
animals in entertainment, you can first learn about the animals you are
interested in helping and how they are being used in entertainment. One
of the resources you can access is the Chimpanzees in Entertainment section
on the Jane Goodall Institute website. Then, if you are interested in taking
action, you can access other resources for ideas on how to help. These steps
may seem small, but each decision and each action you and your group takes
truly makes a difference.
