After high school graduation, Jane could not afford to attend university.
Instead, she took a secretarial course in London. During her spare time,
the Natural History Museum in London was one of Jane's favorite spots. She
spent hours wandering through exhibit halls observing and learning about
the earth, animals, and evolution. There she dreamed about visiting Africa.
